What It Is

Welcome to FDM printing.

THE WORKHORSE OF 3D PRINTING

FDM builds parts by melting thermoplastic filament and laying it down layer by layer. It is the most versatile process we run, and it makes tough functional parts and creative work in a wide range of materials at any volume.

FDM printers running 24/7

Around the clock, our team keeps a close eye on every part with dimensional checks, surface inspection, and QC documentation, so quality holds day and night.

Every FDM part, made your way.

Design Freedom

Shapes molds and machining simply can't make:

  • Consolidate an assembly: combine several parts and fasteners into one printed piece.
  • Print-in-place mechanisms: hinges, joints, and moving parts printed already assembled.
  • Internal channels & lattices: hollow passages and lightweight internal structures.
  • Organic, optimized forms: topology-optimized, sculptural shapes.

Rigid or Flexible

Stiff load-bearing parts or bendy, springy parts come from one process:

  • Sturdy & rigid: stiff, load-bearing parts that hold their shape.
  • Soft & flexible: bendy, springy parts and living hinges that flex and spring back.

The material we choose sets where on the scale your part lands.

Layer Lines: Dial Up or Smooth

Choose fine detail or bold texture:

  • Thin to thick: layers from 0.08 mm for crisp detail up to 0.4 mm for a bold, ribbed texture.

Precision & Exact Fit

Made to your exact spec, so it drops right in:

  • Made to your dimensions: printed to your exact size, with tolerances of ±0.2 mm typical.
  • Fits existing hardware: holes, threads, and bolt patterns matched to what you use.
  • Works around what's there: clearances for an outlet, a pipe, a vent, or a cable run.

Color

Exact color, specialty looks, and multi-color parts:

  • Pantone / RAL match: hit an exact brand or industry color.
  • Full color range + specialty filaments: metallic, carbon-fiber, or clear looks.
  • Multi-color: more than one color in a single part.

Post-Processing & Finish

From raw print to final-ready surface:

  • Sanding & smoothing: sanded to a clean, smooth surface.
  • Painting: primed and painted in any color or finish (metallic, aged, and more).
  • Coating & sealing: sealed, watertight, or protective coatings.
  • Threaded inserts: metal hardware added for screws and bolts.

Build In Your Branding

Your identity, built into the part:

  • Logos: your logo raised or recessed into the part.
  • Brand patterns: surface patterns and textures worked into the part's surface.
  • Wayfinding & instructions: "this side up," arrows, install steps, or warnings printed in.
